Animal Services is jointly operated by the cities of Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and unincorporated Thurston County. This arrangement allows the jurisdictions to share resources and provide the highest quality of service to the community and its pets.

Meeting Schedule for 2019

JASCOM (Joint Animal Services Commission) meets each month to establish goals, discuss various animal-related issues and act on matters as necessary. If you would like to attend a meeting, please call or EMAIL Animal Services’ Executive Director, Sarah Hock, to verify that the meeting date, time and location are correct. Her phone number is (360) 352-2510, ext. 1006.

Meetings will be held on the Fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Lacey City Hall, Executive Boardroom, 420 College St SE, Lacey, WA, unless otherwise posted.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Joint Animal Services Commission will hold a board retreat on Monday, July 15, 2019, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm to discuss and prioritize long-term strategic goals for the organization.  The retreat will be held in the Council Chambers at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey Washington.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the regular meeting of the Joint Animal Services Commission scheduled for July 24, 2019, has been rescheduled to Monday, July 15, 2019, at 3:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey Washington.  The Board will convene to the Executive Session following their regular agenda items.
