Are you thinking of adopting? We’re so glad you stopped by to visit our pets for adoption! The pets at Animal Services are waiting for their forever homes. Our goal is to create great matches and connect potential adopters with amazing animals. When you adopt from us, a homeless pet gets a brand new life and you get a brand new best friend!
CLICK HERE to view some of our great pets available for adoption. Share your favorites with family and friends through our social media integrated postings! We also have more information about adopting a pet from the shelter and some of our post-adoption HAPPY TAILS.
When guardians rehome their pet directly, they are helping Animal Services and all pets great and small. Avoiding a shelter surrender helps reduce overcrowding in our shelter and allows more resources to be available to help those animals that have no other option.
The following two direct-to-adopter websites give animals needing a new home the best of both worlds: their current guardian can find the best fit and their adopter can learn all about their personality and preferences first-hand. It’s a win-win for pets!
The pets on these pages are not part of Animal Services’ adoption program, have not been assessed by Animal Services, and Animal Services is not able to verify the accuracy of descriptions written by the pet owners. Animal Services is unable to provide any additional information or guarantees – please contact the pet owners directly to learn more about them.
Home To Home™
This service is free for the adopter. Pet guardians submit their pet’s information and the pet is posted at https://jas.home-home.org/findapet/. Adopters looking to find a new pet get in touch with the pet guardian directly.
Rehome from Adopt-A-Pet
This site has an adoption fee. The money collected goes to the shelter/rescue of the pet guardian’s choice. Pets posted to this site show up on www.adoptapet.com next to adoptable pets from local shelters. Interested adopters submit an application for the current guardian to review and then find the best fit for their pet.
