From Tuesday, January 8th to Wednesday, January 31st, the Animal Services lobby may be closed to walk-ins from the public due to the construction and replacement of the dog adoption kennels. However, we are open by appointment. Staff will be available by email (shelter@JointAnimalServices.org) and voicemail (360-352-2510) during regular operating hours Tue-Fri 9-5:30 and Sat 9-4. If you call the shelter, please leave a message, and the staff will return your call.
We will have modified services for the week:
- Adoptions by appointment
- Owner surrenders by appointment
- Stray drop-off by appointment; however, staff will be available to pick up confined strays
All other services will continue to be provided as normal:
- Humane law enforcement calls and complaints
- Stray pick-up
- Reclaims of lost pets
Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter. We anticipate returning to full services on Wednesday, February 1st. However, please call us or check our website (www.JointAnimalServices.org) before visiting the shelter to ensure the construction has been completed.
