Joint Animal Services (JAS) will implement updates to adoption and service fees beginning February 1, 2026.
Our current fee structure was last updated in 2018. Since that time, the cost of veterinary care, medical supplies, staffing, and daily animal care has increased significantly. These adjustments help ensure JAS can continue providing humane, high-quality services while remaining affordable and accessible to our community.
Even with these updates, JAS fees remain among the lowest in the region and directly support:
- Veterinary and emergency medical care
- Safe sheltering, food, and daily animal care
- Adoption, foster, enrichment, and behavior programs
We are committed to transparency, equity, and long-term sustainability as we serve both animals and the people in our community.
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
Thank you for supporting lifesaving animal services.
