Get ready for Fall!
Dog Jumping at Leaves

Autumn! That glorious in-between season with trees shedding gold and red, dewy mornings and crisp, campfire-scented evenings. It’s also the perfect time to start preparing for winter. Instead of waiting for the rains to start and a cold snap to sneak up overnight, plan for your pets now. Make sure your pets have adequate shelter outside, that their water bowl is protected from freezing, and that fences are solid enough to withstand our windstorms. Check collars for current ID tags and have a pet emergency kit prepared in case of flooding or an extended power outage. If you and your pet become separated, remember to call or visit Animal Services to see if your pet is here or has been found by someone in the community.
